HappyHop Logistics Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to HappyHop Logistics. By using our services, you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. HappyHop Logistics provides package forwarding and shipping services from our USA warehouse to Jamaica.

2. Services

HappyHop Logistics offers:

  • Package receiving at our USA warehouse

  • Package consolidation

  • Shipping and forwarding to Jamaica

  • Air and sea freight services (where available)

  • Package tracking and customer notifications

  • Online shopping assistance

3. Customer Accounts

  • Customers must create an account to use our services.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that all account information is accurate and up to date.

  • HappyHop Logistics is not liable for delays, misdeliveries, or additional charges resulting from incorrect customer information.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates only.

  • Shipping times may vary due to customs processing, weather conditions, carrier delays, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Customers will be notified when their packages arrive and are ready for pickup or delivery.

  • HappyHop Logistics is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or customs authorities.

5. Fees & Payments

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on actual weight, dimensional weight, size, or volumetric measurements (CBM), as applicable.

  • All fees must be paid in full before packages are released.

  • Additional charges may apply, including but not limited to customs duties, taxes, storage fees, handling fees, and special processing fees.

6. Customs & Duties

  • All shipments entering Jamaica are subject to customs regulations and inspection.

  • Customers are responsible for paying all applicable customs duties, taxes, and government fees.

  • HappyHop Logistics is not responsible for delays resulting from customs inspections, holds, or clearance procedures.

7. Prohibited Items

HappyHop Logistics does not accept or transport prohibited, restricted, or illegal items, including but not limited to:

  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, or explosives

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Hazardous, flammable, or dangerous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Any item prohibited by United States or Jamaican laws and regulations

Packages containing prohibited items may be refused, returned, surrendered to the relevant authorities, or disposed of without liability to HappyHop Logistics.

8. Liability

  • HappyHop Logistics is not liable for loss, damage, theft, or delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Storage & Abandoned Packages Policy

  • Customers must pay for and collect their packages within 30 days of receiving notification that the package is available for pickup.

  • HappyHop Logistics provides a 14-day complimentary storage period from the date of notification.

Storage Fees

After the complimentary storage period expires:

  • A storage fee of JMD $200 will be charged on Day 15.

  • An additional JMD $100 per day will be charged for each subsequent day until the package is collected and all outstanding fees are paid.

Abandoned Packages

Any package that remains unpaid or unclaimed for more than 30 days after notification may be considered abandoned.

HappyHop Logistics reserves the right to dispose of, donate, auction, sell, or otherwise remove abandoned packages without further notice in order to recover outstanding costs. No refunds, credits, or compensation will be provided for abandoned packages.

10. Changes to Terms & Conditions

HappyHop Logistics reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms and Conditions.
